Most useful links - My Go To Sites

Hmm so where to start? It's difficult. Whilst I start to organize my mind, look over on your right, there is a list of my absolute go to sites when I need inspiration.
A quick run down for you :
Whilst all of these sites are either totally free or have enough free inspiration to wake you up without paying a cent, I have to say, I actually don't skimp much on the money side of things when it comes down to lessening my lesson workload.  That said though (as I mentioned) so much (if not all) on my favourites that I have listed here, are kindly given to you for free.

ESL CLASSROOM : An endless wealth of everything you need. Much of the stuff here comes with everything all bundled together...For example if you decide on doing a lesson about a short movie - here you will likely find the movie, plus the lesson plan, plus a PPT presentation to give extra content. There are PPT games and templates (if you're lucky and have an interactive white board, AWESOME).
Many Games, Activities, Teacher Talks....It really goes on forever. You can pay some extra to become a fully fledged member and get access to "Lessons in a Can". I did this recently because I feel like I have pilched through the free stuff for years now and decided it felt right to give back :-)
Really a great resource!

ULTIMATE CAMP RESOURCE : You may think...Hang on a minute, this is ESL class, not school camp but honestly most of my most successful lessons have been taken from here. You can adapt so many of these activities to suit English learning and in my case, my school also expects me to show the students about life in a Western Country. These are the kind of activities we all grew up playing. My Chinese kids have never had a chance to do these kind of things. It really opens their eyes up to the kind of stuff other kids around the world do.I will go into some of my real favourite activities in a post soon but just quickly, off the top of my head now, I can fully recommend "Wanna Buy A Duck" and  "The Four On A Couch(Sofa) Game". Absolute blast of fun! I love this site so much.

GENKI ENGLISH : This is a really comprehensive site with everything all together and aimed at primary school kids. To get real benefit here you need to fork out the money but I have never regretted it. You can access games and ideas for zilch and I did just that for many years but last year invested in the whole kit. For your money you get all the lessons, their songs (this site works on catchy, easy to remember, get stuck in your head so you go crazy trying not to sing them...SONGS) and card games, lesson plans, interactive white board games, board games, books.....ohhh it really goes on and on. The only down side is I have found to get the maximum usage of this fantastic site you really do need to do a lot of printing. If you tutor or teach small groups of kids and you have an android tablet, the kids can get fully interactive into each perfectly planned 45 minute lesson. Its just amazing, the kids love it. Be prepared to get fit in the process of Genki teaching, Its real TPR at it's finest.

TEACHING RECIPES : To be honest I haven't used this that much, but it seems quite useful if you need to find some quick games and activities. I think it is linked in some way to EFL Classroom and is just a useful quick reference that I've fallen back on a couple of times.
