Halloween Hang-Time

Halloween Games...YAY! A Free Halloween Card Game...Double YAY! Not that you should need holiday celebrations to have fun with your kids but they do always provide a great opportunity to break out some cool activities to smash the classroom mold. We don't celebrate Halloween in Australia, although it does seem that it is starting to creep in more and more each year. I have also made many American friends in the last few years whom have initiated me into their Halloween extravaganzas which have been impressively fun. My kids are also always keen on learning more about Halloween, so this year I've made a host of interesting games and activities. There literally is something for everyone and I've based all the activities around a fictional neighborhood of Halloween characters (from my imagination) called "The Spooks".
Starting with the FREE card pack introducing all of THE SPOOKS.
Each of the 34 character cards have a picture of the spook and includes their  age, height, weight, speed and spook factor. Instructions on how to play the "Stat Attack" game are included and the cards also make great collectibles to hand out as rewards to the students.

THEN...your student's can really get to see the spooks in action with the Halloween Hang-Time power-point game. With an original atmospheric soundtrack, the animated spooks community appearing when correct letters are guessed and 15 Halloween words to solve (in a hang man style format)...this is BIG FUN.

For a little reading comprehension I made "The Spook Scoop Pack" which has an interesting page from the Spook Scoop newspaper to read with follow up comprehension questions to answer.
The pack also has a ghostly Halloween word search, a Halloween Menu to be written and some questions that can be used with the Spooks Free Stat attack card game (which is also incorporated into this download.

IF YOU JUST LOVE THE WHOLE LOT (well they can be used separately of course but are all interlinked by the lovable characters) you can pick them all up as one Halloween Pack bundle.

If nothing else, my gift to you all for Halloween is the FREE pack of spook character cards which I'm sure you and your kids will love.
"HAPPY HALLOWEEN"
