FREE ESL PPTX Lesson

Weekend Activities PowerPoint Bingo
If you have no idea what to teach next week, I'm offering you the full working version of my "What Did You Do On The Weekend" PPT Bingo Game Pack
It includes

-The PPT game in it's entirety

-The Bingo Cards (ready to print)

-Mingle worksheet (ready to print or view smart board)

-Flash cards and mini cards (ready to print or view on smart board)

Slide5-All instructions on how to play included in PPT game.

The lesson deals with past tense and I initially designed it because I wanted to prove to my students that when I ask them "What did you do on the weekend"...that they actually had more to say to me than "I did homework and played computer games".

I have started to design and sell many of my successful lessons (mostly ppt) and I'm offering you this one completely free...no strings attached.

Slide6I've taught ESL (middle school) in China for 7 years now and I really know how difficult it can be to come up with great, interactive and fun lessons week in and week out...so go ahead and visit my Teachers Pay Teachers store, sign up (again no strings attached to this either...it's free and you can access many great lessons, some at a small cost and many free) It's a truly great site that I'm sure you will be glad to find.

After you download this lesson pack, to make this lesson really rock, here are some hints on preparation for the lesson.

  • The bingo cards are ready to print...If you have access to a laminating machine, do it. It saves paper! I use regular coloured texters and hand them out with the bingo cards and old cut up towel (into small pieces) for the students to clean the cards off with. AND YES, you can cut the cards AFTER lamination...

  • I teach classes of 60 students, so I made enough variations on the bingo cards (16) to play "Group bingo". I get the students to turn and face the students seated behind them, in groups of 4 students. I just can't print and gather enough utensils for 60 students, so if you are in the same situation as me...this is an easy way to solve the problem.

  • The PPT is self explanatory and runs through how it works in conjunction with the bingo cards.

  • My BIG tip, have a tin full of small candies and chocolates as prizes for the bingo winning team (I also give 2nd and 3rd place) and there are bonus numbers (where a smiley face appears) that if picked by a student, I also give a candy to that particular student.

I really, hope you and your students get heaps of fun from my freebie.

Cheers

Sue
